HERE IS THE MOTOR IN THE CAR. SOME MODIFICATIONS TO THE VALVE COVER ARE NECESSARY. WE USED A BILL MITCHELL HARDCORE 900 CARBURETOR, THE INTAKE WAS POWDER COATED. A MARCH SERPENTINE BELT SYSTEM AND CUSTOM RADIATOR KEEP THE BEAST RUNNING AND COOL. TOTAL CONTROL MONTE CARLO BARS HELP KEEP THE MOTOR FROM TWISTING THE CAR INTO A PRETZEL. TWIN ELECTRIC FANS TAKE CARE OF THE COOLING DUTY. HERE IS ANOTHER VIEW OF THE DASH, BEFORE THE GRANT STEERING WHEEL WAS INSTALLED. NICE TACH AND SPEEDO LAYOUT, WITH OIL PRESSURE AND WATER TEMPERATURE ON THE SIDES. THE FUEL GAUGE AND VOLTMETER ARE INSTALLED IN THE "A" PILLAR. HERE SHE IS READY TO ROCK AND ROLL, JUST IN TIME FOR THE MUSTANG SHOW IN RENO. OLD SCHOOL 15" TORQUE THRUST 2 WHEELS AND T.A. RADIALS LOOK VERY NICE. THE CAR HAS A 514 MOTOR, C-6 TRANS. WITH 2500 STALL WITH AOD PLANETARY GEARS. A 9" REAR WITH 3:73 GEARS AND POWER-TRAX POSI.. THE CAR DYNO TESTED AT 450 HP TO THE REAR WHEELS. NOT TOO SHABBY. YOU HAVE TO RIDE IN IT TO REALLY FEEL THE BIG BLOCK HORSEPOWER AND TORQUE SHOVE YOU BACK INTO THE SEAT. |
