View after
sandblasting
all of the old
paint off of the
car to see
what lies
beneath the
old skin.
Not too bad.
No excessive
rust damage,
just a little
filler here and
there. An old
dent repair on
the left door.
This is the new
and improved
motor for the
Polara. Bored
over with
forged pistons,
Edelbrock
Performer
Aluminum
Heads and 750
CFM
Carburetor,
Comp Cam and
Roller Rockers,
ARP Head
bolts and
Exhaust studs,
Schumaker
Headers
Here is a view
before paint,
after seeing the
color
difference
between the
old paint and
the new color
that the owner
chose, we had
to paint the
engine
compartment
or the car just
wouldn't look
right. We also
took out the K
Member and
painted it Black
along with all
of the
suspension
pieces.
This is the view
from the paint
booth. Smooth
and silky, turn
on the lights,
and WOW!
Instant
intensity!
The car
awaiting the
installation of
it's newly
painted K
member and
suspension
and it's New
Engine and
Transmission.

This is the
view before
blasting, she
was OK, but
she just didn't
POP !
She had an
old, tired 383
stock motor.
