| These high horsepower stroker motors are not for everyone though. There are driveability issues with horsepower increases, and fuel mileage drops as well. We discuss these kind of things with you if you want us to install one of these in your car. |
| This is a 514 cubic inch Ford Racing Stroker motor with over 700 horsepower. We changed the roller cam for a slightly smaller one and installed Rhoads lifters to increase the driveability for this customer. We also had the heads flowed to get back the power we lost due to the cam change. It has over 450 hp to the ground, with a modified C-6 transmission and a 3:73 geared, PowerTrax posi, 9" rear axle. Dominator carburetor, FPA headers, MSD ignition all get to gether for an 11 second street car. It gets about 7mpg on 93 premium |
